Re: Struggling
I have read a lot about people with BPD having fluctuating emotions - it seems to be their normal - I wonder if any professional ever tells anyone that
It has to be rough - it seems that every time we feel okay something can happen to throw us off balance - and I rhink that's true for many people -
It's not really my day either - sinusitis and hayfever and a windy day that is rather warm - but I am staying inside out of the pollen - torn two ways -
I was pruning my vines yesterday and managed to hack a big piece out of the hedge - it will grow again but I feel a bit unhappy when I see the damage I did in a few minutes
I hope you feel easier soon CandyDipper

Re: Struggling
Dissociation is your body's way of protecting itself.
I want you to know we are here for you.
@Owlunar , BPD can be highly-destablising. It can be a mental torment. On the other hand, it can be very rewarding - it is about knowing how to work with it. I wish their was more help out there for pwBPD. It needs highly-specialised therapy coupled with a comparable therapist for treatments to work. You can't have one without the other.
Hugs,
BPDSurvivor
