As a carer, time out is important. But now that it's winter time and it's cold and grey, I find that I'm tempted to just stay inside. To me, this makes it even more important to make an effort to get out and about. For some people, they can recharge by staying indoors, but for me, getting out into the fresh air means a lot to my well-being.

So this thread is about making sure we take some time out and sharing this experience with others. We often enjoy getting a post card from our friends who are on holidays. It can make us feel like we're on holidays too.

So take some time out, have a mini break or a long break! And then post photos, pictures, and/or comments on where you went.

Send us a post card!
