Re: Checking In

Glad you're ok @TAB

He will be okay- pain relief for the first five days.

I'm going to Brisbane tomorrow seeing my niece and then have specialists appointment.

Re: Checking In

Well hope it all goes okay @oceangirl 😸

Re: Checking In

work @oceangirl
tried a new dating process/site and have one scheduled. It's a blind type of date. But had to reschedule as have plans for sunday - to meet new people.

Today I decided to message a random bunch of people to see what happens. These are all people I have on facebook that I have not spoken to for a while. I thought about ti after my message to the guy who invited me to his wedding. I hadn't spoken to him for 4 years and it was akward. I am hoping to at least catch up and see what happens. Lately I have been motivated to cover old ground and situations. To revivify the past maybe, I'm not sure.

Anyway. Other than work and all that stuff, which involved deliveries and organising frieght. I was also doing some intern stuff tonight.

Tomorrow will be more of that, but less intense. I am hoping to do some self development.

Would've gone gym, but need masks to go and I can't do it in a mask. May just do a walk.

I feel tired too.

Catch you tomorrow

I hope Milo is okay

@Flying_Hams Great to hear from you Smiley Happy. You seem to be doing well- I hope if you catch up with your old friend that its a positive experience for you- communication is the key and of course being open and honest. Hope it all goes well for you.

I hope Milo will be okay too- I will know more next week exactly when Milo's surgery is- its been booked in for next Thursday but it depends on his schedule for that day.

It is cold here atm and tomorrow I'm headed up to Brisbane to see a friend- we are heading out to dinner and concert and I am going to crash at her place overnight and then head home in the morning. In the afternoon I have the sanctuary and then after this- I will go and have dinner with my parents and brother. Hope you have a great weekend. Talk to you soon....

Re: Checking In

Thanks @oceangirl
I work in Sydney CBD and I am therefore effected by the lockdown/restrictions
I'm still trying to figure out if I am allowed to leave the house even though I'm not in the restriction area.
It is what it is.

I am hoping to utilise the time for myself and work on some self development, meditative type exercise and reassure myself

I am overdue for that

Re: Checking In

See you around my friend @oceangirl

Your welcome @Flying_Hams

I didn't know you worked in the CBD in Sydney, I knew you came from Sydney though. My cousin is from Sydney and she is not in the restrictive zone and has gone away for a week- mid north coast NSW. She had planned to go to Cairns but that was cancelled. Be careful Hams and stay safe. This variant is very contagious apparently.

Good on you for making time for yourself and your well being. I need to do more of that myself and do the things that will help me with my anxiety and depression.

I am hoping to get to the pool tomorrow morning. Stay safe my friend and talk soon !!

Re: Checking In

all good @oceangirl
It is what it is my friend
Yeah gotta be careful. I wasn't in any of the spots they mentioned so haven't got a test. I haven't had symptoms either.
I am hoping to get the covid vaccine soon though
