Re: Night Shift

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope I think I'll try and sleep my meds are kicking in. I feel really nauseous and disappointed with myself

Re: Night Shift

@NikNik that image is brilliant. I haven't seen it before. I've had a relapse of sorts myself the last few days. The picture has helped put the recovery process into perspective for me. Thank you!

Re: Night Shift

These things happen sometimes @Angels333 but the important thing is that you are safe now ... Big hugs 💗

Re: Night Shift

Hi @Faith-and-Hope thanks for letting me know about this thread, I hadn't seen it before. Looks like a really good support base and im glad to know it's here.

Re: Night Shift

This seems to be one of the more active threads @Nikolai, so if you're wanting company it's generally a good place to find some ...

It does go quiet at times though, if people (peeps to some ...) are wandering off to other commitments, so please don't assume you have stopped the conversation if nobody answers for a while.  That can happen ...

Re: Night Shift

Hi everyone,

I've been busy by my standards today, with only one nap to catch up on missed sleep last night. Up early-ish , into some exercise bike and stretching. Then a bit of computer including creative admin. Dressed and cleaned myself early and took medications in a timely manner. Then out by bus to the local shopping centre to return a piece of technology that I bought from eBay that has failed after only a few weeks of use - my first solo trip out of the flat for a couple of weeks. Quite a bit of walking (by my standards) including to and from the local shops to treat myself to a favorite chicken-and-leek pie for lunch, yum. Then out to visit a friend for dinner this evening. Only just caught up on everyone's posts here now.

@comet, it's so great to hear your Phams meeting went well and that it has given you feelings of hope. It is a great set up, isn't it? My Phams worker is really lovely too and it was some slightly tougher-than-usual care from her yesterday that may have helped kick me up and into a bit of action last night and today. Wishing you the very best with it from here on in. Will be so interesting to hear how it goes for you over time.

@hope77, more good wishes for your appointment tomorrow.

@Angels333, hope you get a good night's sleep and feel much better in the morning. As many have already said, please be kind to yourself about this. We feel only care for you and hope you can find that in yourself too.

@Former-Member, sending very best wishes that this next stage of the court proceedings goes as smoothly as possible and that you get to rest more during the school holidays.

@Faith-and-Hope, glad your dad's knee is doing well. Hope the pajama days have been enjoyable. So sorry your painting didn't make the exhibition. Having experienced many artistic knock-backs in my time, I feel for your disappointment. Sounds like your usual wisdom has come through though, with your mental preparation for all eventualities.

@NikNik, love that diagram of recovery, never gets tired for me. I've thought about it too during my depressive slump over the past couple of weeks and again last night and today, now that I've bounced back somewhat from it.

@Nikolai, glad to see you here. I read your post on another thread about relapsing but was unable to respond at the time. Glad to see you have had lots of support. I have bipolar too and have had a recent relapse but seem to be coming out of it to some extent again.

@Kurra, hope work is treating you well and that you are sleeping better lately.

@Former-Member, wondering how you are and if you are still around. More hugs headed your way.

Best to all I haven't been able to tag this post. Heart
