Re: 365 Project

I am glad everyone has perked up and is keeping this thread going. Heart

Had a lovely night singing and chats to a few people. At first when I tried to just be "social" I couldnt always control the level of personal stuff divulged.  There was just too much of a backlog waiting for verbal expression .. I dont really want to tell everybody everything ... but at least last night I had a better rein on things ... yet on the ride home ... our chats are very personal and deep and intelligent and funny ... I think we are becoming good mates ... he has a wife who is getting a visa etc ... so we are all clear ... but can talk about sex in a decent non misogynist and non smutty way, among many other topics.  Its great.

Re: 365 Project

Hi all - it was a beautiful day here today - after cold grey skies all week we woke up to a clear blue sky!
Did a few hours of packing - was a good time to practice deep breathing techniques as my kids were very eager to 'help'! 😝
Caught up on five loads of washing (took a couple of loads to the dryer though) and then had hot chips in the park - oops not healthy.... But sooo yum
Kids played happily and hoping they sleep better tonight!

Re: 365 Project

Have had 3 good comments about my poetry from people who care about writing ... so that feels good.

Re: 365 Project

I currently am grateful for ice packs.

I tripped over on Sunday at the farm, and I've badly grazed my knee. It's quite swollen and sore, and an ice pack is the only thing providing relief.

I think I'm gonna have to go see my GP...

Oh no cbl!! How's the knee today?

I'm grateful to my sons paediatrician who has listened to me and actually heard what I said to her and is really going to help us as a family. She had a lovely rapport with my Lil guy straight away (doesn't happen often)!

Re: 365 Project

Before I go and read my new Ruth Rendell book , I would like very much to write :

Thank you to my work for being so relaxed with me though I work only 1:5 hours per week

For Sane Forums for regrounding my true desire for being a proud consumer. Something I've truly always been but I get more and more confident saying it.

Thank you to Arlo for being Arlo and being absolutely lovely and beautiful even though he's not talking to me because I cleaned his eyes and he's hidden under the loungeroom chair with his back facing me

Thatnkyou for Project 265
For @Former-Member who created it
Ice packs for @Crazy_Bug_Lady

For @Former-Member's good parenting skills
